Let Go- of past experiences influencing future choices

Love- who you are even your uniquenesses

Dream Big- believing in your own ability to succeed.

The theme for this year's newsletters are about letting go, lovng yourself and dreaming big. I am going to share with you the lessons that have revealed themself working with the horses and people over the month, as well as my own lessons that I have learnt from life.
Today's lesson- tears of truth

Following on from this month's theme (on facebook) of looking at the more physical side of healing, I thought it would be a great opportunity to share my understanding of tears.

From what I have come to understand over the years of watching people heal is the fantastic healing power of tears (just like the phoenix's healing tears).

For me our difficulties can become stored in our diaphragm, as we suppress how we are not coping with something, our diaphragm then begins to become tense, causing a shortening of our breath, thus impacting on the amount of oxygen going to our brains and our ability to think our way through a situation.

When we cry it forces us to take deep breaths, pushing our diaphragm down providing it with a good stretch, and then when all the tears have dried up you feel freer as you are able to take in more oxygen with less effort.

And it's through those tears that lead to the understanding, acceptance and allowing of creating new beliefs and physically changing your habits. As you move to physically being in a state of readiness now that the flow of oxygen has been restored to your brain and it can receive/ learn new information.
Today's lesson- if you could step into this picture and spend a moment there, what kind of a person would you be?
Take a moment today to be that person.
Today's lesson from these lovely ponies- don't change the dream change the action

This is a statement I came across today and thought it was brilliant!

Normally when we are embarking on changing something in ourselves or healing something that is effecting our lives, the illness/ disability helps us to focus on what we want.

But where I see great success is knowing where we are going or what it is that needs to be achieved, but being flexible with what it is that needs to be done to get there.

Many times I have gone down to the field with a plan of what I think needs to be done and the horses come across with a totally different plan, something they have seen that they feel needs healing first in a person.

So whatever it is that you are doing or achieving be playful and change the action, try something new and different and who knows that may be the missing piece of the healing puzzle for you
.

Today's lesson- breaking through the glass ceiling

There is something that has happened over the last few weeks here, that I have now recognised, but has actually been occurring all along.

When people come and see us they have opened up and are willing on some level to change, to start a new.

Now we all have dreams and what may seem like a big dream to someone, could actually an easily achievable dream to someone else.

But after taking small steps towards achieving those things at some point you reach the illusion of the glass ceiling. Yet what I have begun to appreciate more and more when we are out in the field surrounded by the horses and nature, there is no glass ceiling.

The sky really is the limit and if you want to take it that bit further since we have travelled into space, you truly can reach for the stars!

To think we a limited is a lie to think we have unlimited potential is the truth, something to remind yourself of daily. It's through my experiences everyday with people that has shown me that we don't actually know what our potential is the best we can come up with is our grandest dreams of what we could be.

But the horses demonstrate during our interaction with them their curiosity of exploring that conversation what if .... You became.....? How would your life be? Fun, harmonious, free?
