Dream Butchers: The World of Reinaldo Garcia 

July 8th - 10th 

 
Dream Butchers: The World of Reinaldo Garcia, three evocative one-act plays by Reinaldo Garcia, will be presented July 8th, 9th and 10th at the Cherry Center. Showtimes are 7:30pm Friday and Saturday and 2:00pm, Sunday. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com

Opening Reception: Friday, July 15th,  5pm - 7pm

Free and open to the public


From the Vault: Forest Theater Poster Art, a rich and singular exhibit of original Forest Theater poster art. Part of Carmel's Centennial celebration, the exhibit is drawn from the Pacific Repertory Theatre's poster collection and will include a selection of posters--some of which can be purchased, with proceeds benefiting the Pacific Repertory Theatre and the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts.

On display through August 26th.
The Cherry Center Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 4 p.m., or by appointment.

The Mudville Nine: Tales from the Diamond

July 22nd - 24th 

What happens when a Cub's fan and a Giant's aficiando get together and discuss their love of baseball?  An original evening of story and song featuring the Peninsula's actor/songwriter Michael Lojkovic and Los Angeles' renowned poet/performer Milo Martin. With featured music recorded by The Chicago Els, Lisa Goettel and Bill Minor.

The Collection: Celebration of Peggy Guggenheim

July 30th - 31st - shows at 7:30pm

THE COLLECTION, a theatrical collage of vignettes celebrating the life and legacy of Peggy Guggenheim, opens July 30th in Cherry Hall. Written and directed by Al Schnupp, THE COLLECTION presents thirty-four brief, yet significant incidents from the life of Peggy Guggenheim, the renowned collector of modern art. Each episode is paired with a work of art from her collection, which transforms and complements the narrative.
