How to write a 'non-boring' memoir

1. Could you use a unique format for your memoir? Think outside the box.
2. Your title is extremely important. Don’t call your story ‘my memoir’ or ‘my story’. You need to be original and make people WANT to read it!
3. Anecdultory: use interesting anecdotes but not necessarily in chronological order.
4. Your memoir needs conflict. This can be within your main character, between characters, their physical surrounds or a challenge they need to overcome.
5. Be diplomatic and kind, consider the impact on your family when writing and remember, this is simply YOUR version of events.
