    Scholarships Announced

In 2016 FRRR continues to support networking and professional development for the Community Foundation sector. One way that FRRR delivers on this is through the provision of Scholarships that assist with travel and registration costs to the National Community Foundation Forum.

In 2016 FRRR is offering a limited number of partial and full scholarships. Priority will be given to Rural Regional and Remote Community Foundations who have greater travel costs. FRRR’s preference is to support only one representative from a Community Foundation, in order to share support across a larger number of Community Foundations.

Scholarship requests must be submitted EITHER via the online application form or by completing the MS Word from ACPApplications close Monday 1 August 2016.

    NCFF Workshop Program

The Forum's Wednesday afternoon workshop program will provide delegates with the opportunity to choose from a range of practical sessions dealing with burning issues like community engagement and marketing, investment, making the most of your Board, the legal/regulatory framework including recent changes to the Public Ancillary Fund guidelines.

Workshop Snapshot:  From Marketing to Community Engagement with Julia Keady-Blanch
Using her newly developed Community Engagement Marketing model of Story-Support-Impact-Influence, Julia Keady-Blanch, Xfactor Strategic Development, will show us how to create deeper connection and resonance within our communities.

While a Community Engagement Strategy is still constructed using the traditional thinking such as ‘generating publicity’, ‘creating greater visibility’, ‘differentiating from other organisations’, at its heart is a philosophy of building a collective vision, collective responsibility and community ownership. Rather than pushing out messages and hope your ‘clients’ come rushing in, it means you are developing authentic and meaningful conversations.

In this session, Julia will share the model and strategies using her recent work with Community Foundations as a case in point.
