History in the making!
Friday 24th June will be a landmark day in the lives of all our children.
As I stood on door duty this morning, the number of children that wanted to discuss the result of the EU referendum was incredible.
In their own ways they described their feelings of disappointment or pleasure, depending on their point of view.
Part of the boys' education at Elmhurst is to develop their critical thinking and to have an opinion. It is not for us to tell them 'what' to think, but 'how' to think.
So what should I say in assembly?

Revolutionary Forest School..
We have received some wonderful feedback from parents about Forest School at Elmhurst.
Read Amy Atkinson's comments below:
Forest School is one of the most positive aspects of both my sons' educational and emotional experience at Elmhurst. As Education at the highest level of research and policy guidance moves towards placing greater value on problem-solving and enquiry, Forest School provides a perfect context and opportunity for these qualities to be nurtured in our boys. We are extremely fortunate at Elmhurst to have the opportunity for our children to experience the combination of this kind of outdoor experience with an academic focus and a nurturing, family orientated environment.
