Gateway School

Dear Parents

Thank you all for the part you played in making this year’s Summer Fair such a great Gateway event. The Friends of Gateway team had got everything under control and even managed to secure a dry day - a minor miracle! The super Year 6 pupils excelled themselves with the variety of stalls they had organised and their lovely caring attitude to the younger children.

Year 2 children have a couple of special visitors

Year 5 are learning about advertising and the art of persuasive writing. They have each developed a liquid product that has varied from flea protectors to energy drinks! They have then written a pitch, to a company, in an attempt to persuade them to take their invention; much like Dragon’s Den.
