Life Moves Pretty Fast... And Getting Faster |

<<First Name>>,
It's hard to believe that life passes by so quickly. It seems like just a few years ago, I was in college (it was a lot more than that). And in the blink of an eye, somehow, I have a son who just turned 4 years old. I have to give my wife, Elizabeth, credit for a number of things in my life. Not just for taking care of us, but she has helped me realize how quickly life will pass us by. With her encouragement, I have tried to change my work schedule, so I do not miss out on the finer things in life, like family time. I say try, because I am not 100%...yet. I started going home in the four o'clock hour, so I can spend more time with my family. Time passes no matter what we do. I will not have another opportunity to get this time back. So I am doing my best to create memories with my family every day.
As the summer continues and the days get shorter (since we have passed June 21), I hope you have an opportunity to do something you have not accomplished before. Take more time to be with the people you cherish.

My wife, Elizabeth, is a Mom, an amazing wife and an incredible chef. She trained at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. She shares a helpful tip below.
Elizabeth is on vacation this month. After planning a birthday party for our four year old, eating too much cake and pizza at the party, she is taking a much deserved break. Stay tuned for a cooking tip or maybe something new and exciting next month. In the meantime, please enjoy some take out and don't forget to eat a few salads. They're healthy and will help keep you fit for summer time. |
