The 4th Annual Warrior Beach Week will take place September 6-11, in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

Independence Day is Around the Corner!

The summer sun has finally arrived with July 4 coming fast!!  The 2016 Warrior Families will be arriving on September 6 --- just 64 days from July 4!!!!

The Independence Day festivities kick off at noon with the big parade down and around Bethany Beach. There will be dozens of colorful floats and hundreds of participants from local organizations and businesses. Bands will be playing and we will celebrate our country’s independence in this festive atmosphere.

Operation SEAs the Day will proudly participate with its WARRIOR float as we continue to honor the many brave men and women who have and who continue to serve and sacrifice to preserve our independence. Come early and get a good seat along the parade route.

There will be contests and activities on the beach during the day leading up to the spectacular fireworks at dusk. FUN FOR ALL!!

Our Mission:
To organize and facilitate a beach week event for our wounded soldiers and their families as a means of showing our appreciation for their service and sacrifice. It is our hope that such a community-based gesture of support will be comforting and help ease their transition back into civilian life.

Poster Pal Project

We're excited to say that the Poster Pal Project is off to a great start!! As a way to connect families visiting Bethany throughout the summer to Operation SEAs the Day, we'll be setting up poster-making stations at the Bethany Farmer’s Market on Sundays through the end of July where residents and visitors can stop by to decorate their own welcome sign for our warrior VIFs (Very Important Families).

These signs are used to welcome the Warrior Families as they arrive on September 6th and again at Freeman Stage on the September 10.  Finally, at the Farewell Breakfast, the families can select their favorite poster to take home as a reminder of their time in Bethany Beach.

Freeman Stage Tickets

Be sure to get your tickets for the Bruce in the USA concert Friday, September 9th beginning at 7 p.m.  Join the Warrior Families in this great USA celebration of music and recognition of the brave American Families visiting Bethany Beach.  Bring your families and join in on this exciting patriotic evening!   For tickets visit freemanstage.org.
