This quote came up on my Instagram feed recently and it seemed appropriate to share with you. 

" Balance is the key in everything you do. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don't forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your hearts wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Wear high heels on Saturday and walk barefoot on Sunday. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are. Be brave, bold, spontaneous and loud. Then let that complement your abilities to find silence, patience, modesty and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and follow your own path." 

This week I have found myself craving yoga. You may think that with my being a yoga teacher and all, I would do yoga all the time, but I actually hadn't been to a class in quite sometime until this past Sunday. I went to two classes on Sunday and another this morning after teaching. 
Yoga is an amazing way to find that balance that we all crave. It allows me to recognize areas of strength and weakness in my body as well as energizing and calming my mind. 
So this week I am encouraging you to try a new yoga class and find that balance in your life.

Our workouts this week will again challenge your body and mind. 

It's the last week of our 8-week Yoga workshop. See you tonight at 212 Tulane at 6:30 p.m. 
Next workshop will begin on Wednesday, July 13th. 

Unfortunately, Remedy has decided to cancel the early morning yoga classes. I am in the process of figuring out where to continue teaching early morning yoga so I will certainly let you know. 

Again, thank you for all of your continued support of Urban Fyt and my endeavors. 

Remember - if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you!
