Resources for NIH Rigor & Transparency Guidelines Now Online


Did you miss the June 23 seminar, Expert Feedback on NIH Rigor and Transparency Guidelines, hosted by Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University? Don't worry, the seminar materials are now available on the Tufts CTSI website. You will find:

  • Reviewer information and templates
  • NIH guidelines, slides, and training module.
Watch the video for specific advice by faculty members who participated in recent NIH study sections, and review the resources before you submit your next grant proposal.

 

Apply for Tufts CTSI's Online Graduate Certificate Program


Need formal research training for your job? Thinking about a degree program in clinical research or public health? Beginning this fall, Tufts CTSI will offer its first online graduate certificate in Fundamentals of Clinical Care Research. This one year, 2.5-credit program is perfect for busy clinicians, international students, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals whose schedules or locations require a flexible online curriculum.

Students will experience live webinars, active discussion boards, and asynchronous lectures by experts in clinical investigation, clinical epidemiology, health services research, outcomes research, meta-analysis, biostatistics, and related fields.

Tufts New England Case Competition, August 5

 
Interested in solutions to global life sciences industry problems? Tufts Biomedical Business Club will host the Third Annual Tufts New England Case Competition (TUNECC) on Friday, August 5, 8:30AM-7:00PM in Sackler 114 (145 Harrison Avenue, Boston). Watch as 25 teams present solutions to a life sciences business problem. Solutions will be judged by consultants from leading consulting and venture capital firms, and the first place prize is $2,000.
