Hari Om!
Welcome to July... Really hope you are all well and looking forward to a sunny holiday or time in the garden!  Hasn't it been a fast year so far...really need to make time to be a little still.
If you remember, at the beginning of June we spent a few weeks working with the Moon Sequence and Chandra Namaskar.  Such beautiful energy and there were a lot of positive comments from all the classes.  I have written the Moon Sequence for you.  You can vary this to how you feel and it can be done standing or sitting.  Remember as you practice the shape of the moon up the sides and down the back.  Also when taking the arms in a circular movement you can visualise the moon.  Can you tell I am a little passionate about it!!

Big excitment this month - I have finally set the date for us to have a Craft Fair - November 27th, Darley Abbey Village Hall. This is new territory for me but I do have a wonderful helper in Sally who will look after all the stall holders.  Please do let me know if you would like a stall...charge will be £15 and a donation for the raffle.

The other excitement for me is that I have the chance to work with one of my favourite teachers...in Italy!!!  Feel ever so naughty doing this but I am lookng forward to the learning.  It just means that the class dates in August have changed, so do check out the info below about it.

Time for all of us is very precious and I have been stuggling recently to keep on top of things.  Due to this I have made the decision to run fewer masterclasses.  The next one for me, rather than Nepal, will be October 29th.  This will be a morning of meditational practice with some asana.  I teach meditations from the Tantras.  It will be suitable for all.  I strongly believe that meditation helps us in so many ways; mentally and physically.  Really hope you can join me.  We will be in the OAP Hall in LIttle Eaton - 10am to 12.30pm.  Investment £15.
The Summer Solstice Day in June was wonderful and I will run it again next year.  Loved doing it - thank you SO much to all who came along.

I have also been thinking about my retreats and I LOVE doing these.  Wortley Hall is booked for March 2017 (17th to 19th); I am also thinking of a long weekend in France in July; and another trip to Nepal in October.  We are also getting closer to booking Japan for 2018!  Life is really exciting at the moment!  A little more information here.

Little Reminders:
23rd July - Sanctuary Retreat Day - FULL - if you want to be on the waiting list let me know.  A whole day of self care and all profit will go to the Nepal fund.  The morning will be restorative yoga; after lunch there will be some different therapies to try; we will join together at the end with yoga nidra.

29th October - Let's Meditate - OAP Hall, Barley Close, Little Eaton
A morning of gentle asana and lots of meditation.  I will teach you some simple practices you can take away and do at home.  Meditation really is an essential key to our ongoing good health - physically and mentally.  Please book in advance as place will be limited.  Investment £15.  10am to 12.30pm

27th November - Craft Day for Nepal - Darley Abbey Village Hall
This is a fun, fund raising day for Nepal and time to do your Christmas shopping!  If you want a stall do let me know.  Come and try a little Nepalese food too...and cake!

Thank you again for your lovliness.  I feel hugely honoured that you come to class, and read this!!!
Have an amazing month and may life be joyous for you too.

Sending you love, joy and peace.

Namaste

Most of all, lots of fun and time to get your Christmas shopping done.  Can't believe I have just written that!  But do stick the date in your diary and please tell your friends.
One of my lovely ladies is making hand muffs for the Dementia Unit at Derby Royal Hospital.  She is always on the look out for things that she can include on these hand muffs...that make a noise, have different textures or shapes or colour.  If you have any items you could donate, even unwanted wool; do bring to class and I will pass it on.  A couple of pictures to show what she is doing.  The idea is that they are stimulating to the senses.

Fundraising for Nepal

I love how the money for Nepal keeps appearing!
June raised £131 in the magic silver tin.  Thank you so much.  It was really boosted by a plant sale at the Allestree Wednesday class by Anne.
We have a day on 23rd July to help raise a little more; and November 27th will be our Craft Fair.

EMM-TECH Short Course
Recently I went along to see Claire Stone who did some Emmett on me.  Very light touch of her magical fingers and I could really feel the difference.
I am so excited about it that I have signed up to do her day course in September.
Why don't you come and join me?  She is a great teacher and really fun lady.

Claire Stone on 07908 254175 or email clairelstone70@gmail.com
Please excuse my drawings!!  Hope you remember doing this and don't need to rely on the pictures!  So many of you asked for it.
Hopefully you will use on Monday 4th July as we have a new moon at 11.01.
There are no rights or wrongs with this...just enjoy and really feel it.  Moon Sequence.
Yoga is the Key
The greatest need of the world today is the message of love.
Kindle the light of love in your own heart first. Love all.
Include all creatures in the warm embrace of your love.
Nations can be united by pure love only. Wars can be ended by pure love only.
Love is a mysterious divine glue that unites the hearts of all.
It is a magical healing balm of very high potency.
Charge every action with pure love.
Realize that you are neither body nor mind,
That you were never born nor will you ever die,
That you are invincible,
That nothing in this world can hurt you,
That you are the sun around whom the whole universe revolves.
All knowledge is treasured up within the chambers of your heart.
Procure the key and unlock the doors of knowledge.
Yoga is the key.
Yoga brings perfection, peace and everlasting happiness.
