Field Trips and Workshops

Hi Everyone!

I am happy to report that Herb & Garden Day went off without a hitch and was a smashing success!  Our attendance was up from previous years, thank you to Jessica Fogg of JFogg Inspirations. Such a great job Jessica!  We also had several nice write-ups in the Hippo Press and the Concord Insider, all helping to support our cause and increase attendance, BUT a wonderful surprise was the plug we received on WMUR TV the day of the event from one of our member's brother who frequently contributes to Cook's Corner.....we actually had people parking in the street!  Thank you!  And thank you to everyone who contributed: attendees, presenters, sponsors, donators, volunteers, vendors, and the Audubon Center.....this event could NOT have been the success it was without everyone one of you!

Just a reminder to keep June 17th, 2017 open for next year!  I tried to get an earlier date, but the Audubon was booked, BUT for 2018 we are set for June 9th. 

Please be sure if you are interested in going to any of the field trips to sign up. These are not formal tours but rather a nice casual outing, nonetheless we will have to have a minimum number of people in order for these field trips to run. Sign up by clicking HERE. If you are interested in fermentation, keep October 2, 2016 open for Fabulous Fermentation!  This is actually TWO classes that will run at the same location, but slightly different times. Craft Beer Making and Kraut & Kombucha.....Click HERE for more details about the classes and their location.

And remember, if you come to the meetings and you are NOT an AHG member, not to worry, BUT if you are a member, the NHHN-AHG gets $10 for each AHG member in attendance in at least one meeting per year.
