Key Transition Points Mapping Project – We Need Your Help

During their last strategic planning day, the District Child and Family Planning group identified the benefits of mapping supports/services/programs available for families when their children are “transitioning” from one life stage to another e.g. birth, early childhood, starting school etc.  The mapping for each of the 5 LGAs (Coffs to Port) has commenced and we really need your input to make sure the information is correct and comprehensive. New Central Library and Regional Gallery - Coffs Harbour

In consultation with the community, Coffs Harbour City Council is exploring ideas and options for a new central Library and Regional Gallery, with the aim of matching the needs of Coffs Harbour's growing population.

The Council owned site at 23-31 Gordon Street has been endorsed as the location for the proposed new Harry Bailey Memorial Library and Regional Gallery.

ANZ Staff Foundation Grants

The ANZ Staff Foundation is funded by regular contributions made by ANZ staff and ANZ. The foundation aims to support projects run by charitable organisations which offer a direct and tangible benefit to local communities. In addition to providing funding for community projects, ANZ staff are also actively encouraged to support the work of the ANZ Staff Foundation by volunteering their time and skills to support the projects.

Carers Week Grants Application Extension

The NSW Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) funds Carers NSW to provide grants of $250 to carer support groups and organisations, to plan events and activities for carers during National Carers Week, which run from 16 – 22 October 2016. 

The grant application deadline has been extended to 5.00pm on Sunday 10 July 2016. You can apply for a grant online here or email commsteam@carersnsw.org.au to request a printed copy of the application form.  
You will be notified of the outcome of your application by Friday 12 August 2016.
