Call to Artists: Teeny Tiny Art Show & Sale

Valley Arts is planning a second annual Teeny Tiny Art Show and Sale fundraiser this summer that will enhance two of our regular events: the Festival Frolic (Picnic) on July 31 at Lareau Farm, and the Taste on August 7 at Sugarbush Resort.

We’re asking artists to donate a piece created for us or an existing work of art (in any medium) that measures about 4"x4" minimum and 8”x8” maximum - it does not have to be square, but it should be small. The artwork will be on display with a tag that lists the artist’s name. Sales will take place at the Frolic and the Taste in a price range between $20 and $50. All of the funds raised will support Valley Arts and the Festival.

Will you donate a small work? It could be a sketch or study you’ve already made! Note that nothing will be sold for more than $50.

DEADLINE: All artwork needs to be delivered to the Festival offices by July 22nd.

Instructions:

Create any type of piece, in any medium, with a minimum long edge of 4" and a maximum long edge of 8".
Return your artwork to the Valley Arts’ Festival Gallery by July 22^nd.
Label your artwork with your name and suggested price. Prices should range between $20 - $50.
All work is considered a donation to Valley Arts. All artists donating to the Teeny Tiny Art Show will receive recognition in a press release and on the Festival website.
The Teeny Tiny Art Show & Sale will be on display at the Festival Frolic (formerly the Festival Picnic) on July 31 and at the Taste on August 7^th.

Our goal is to encourage people to begin purchasing original artwork, whether as a souvenir, a gift, or as “treat yourself” gratification - those first "teeny tiny" steps to becoming art collectors.
