A SOUTHERN SEND-OFF: Jim and Margaret Belton will soon be leaving for China and we know you'd love to spend some time with them before they go. Next week, on Friday, July 15th from 6-8pm, there will be a potluck dinner in the Redeemer fellowship hall. This will be a great opportunity for us as a church family to bless the Beltons and send them.
Our dinner theme is "A Southern Send-off" and so we'd like to see your favorite dishes that match that theme. If your last name begins with A-P, please bring meats or sides. If your last name begins with R-Z, please bring desserts. Drinks will be provided. Since potlucks bring out the voracious appetite in all, try to prepare dishes that will generously feed 14-18 hungry people.
PROVIDING MEALS: If you are able to serve our sister in Christ, Frankie Bennet, by providing a meal while she recovers from surgery, sign up here.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION HOUR: Just as a reminder, there will be no Christian Education class for the month of July. The class and children's programs will start up again in August.
SECURITY TEAM: David Ivey is heading up a new welcoming/security team on Sunday mornings at Redeemer. He's looking for volunteers to serve about once every two months, so contact David at 803-634-7968 if you're interested in helping.
PRAYER REQUESTS: Our Session longs to pray for our congregation, and many of you offer your requests on Sundays through the attendance pads. We've also developed a web form for you to submit prayer requests you have during the week. If you'd like prayer, please use this form.
