Peer Group Recap

As well as the Breakfast Series Event, the Operations, Food Safety and HR Peer groups all met in June to discuss issues of relevance and the Sales and Marketing Peer Group joined a webinar to learn how to increase sales via ECCNet.

Food Safety/Operations: - thank you to Paul Tolnai of P&S Frozen Foods who opened his Vancouver doors to more than 25 members looking to see how he processes his pastries, ribs, burgers and sausage rolls! All while using Burton Softwares’ ICICLE technology to ensure that he stays 100% Critical incident free with his HACCP program that speaks directly to CFIA! Thanks also to Steve Burton for showing us ICICLE in real life application – great meeting group!

HR Peer Group: There are more than 35 companies participating in the HR Wage Survey currently underway. Thank you to the participating companies. The group also scheduled its meetings for the fall with topics which are available here.

Sales and Marketing: Special thanks to Lloyd Campbell and Pat Crilly of GS1, our Affiliate members, who helped our group understand the importance of having a full and complete profile on ECCNet to attract new retailers. Catch the PowerPoint here.
