Did you know?
Women make the majority of heath care decisions for themselves and family members

We're very honoured to have been included in a recent article in Chatelaine: 'The pinking of pot: Canada’s weed revolution, for women by women'. We met the author, Rachel Heinrichs, at this spring's Lift Cannabis Expo in Toronto where the crowd heard from Jazmin Hupp, co-founder of Women Grow:

"Women make 80 percent of the health care decisions in Canadian families and account for the majority of spending on over-the-counter drugs, so, she reasons, “you’re going to be going through the mothers of this country to have cannabis in your households.” We also dominate spending on wellness — yoga, essential oils, herbal supplements that enhance our moods or help us lose weight."

Give the MMPR Task Force your opinion!

A recently launched discussion paper and questionnaire from Health Canada allows individuals to provide input on marijuana legalization and regulation. Canadians eager to share their opinions should read the discussion paper first, in order to form insightful recommendations. The responses from this consultation will be shared with the Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation in order to report on the findings.

Don't miss your opportunity to weigh in on the future of cannabis in Canada.

The Allard Decision

-Article from Lift Cannabis News-

"On February 24th of this year, a Federal Court issued its ruling in the Allard case, giving the Federal Government until August 24th to either amend the MMPR or create entirely new legislation in its place. The government allowed their chance to appeal to expire after 30 days, so now, barring a last-minute request for an extension, the government has less than 2 months to render the MMPR constitutional, or at least make a best faith effort at trying to do so."
