BOBCAT RELEASE

Watch how fast this Bobcat takes off into the forest!

The beautiful Bobcat, who was recovering at Chintimini Wildlife Center after generous staff at the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital performed orthopedic surgery on her broken leg, was released!

CWC is ever so grateful to everyone who came together to make this happen. From your donations, volunteer time and helping us share her story, it wouldn't have been possible to do it without you!

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME

Believe it or not, these Violet-green Swallows are the same age. The swallows on the top were fed a species inappropriate diet on an insufficient schedule and housed in inadequate caging for almost a week. They arrived emaciated, covered in food with damaged beaks, and extremely poor feathering.

The swallows on the bottom were cared for by our skilled, trained volunteers and staff. Please, do not attempt to care for injured or orphaned wildlife. Call us to ensure proper care. We are open every day of the year! 541-745-5324.

WE'VE GONE BATTY WITH RECORD BREAKING ADMISSIONS!

In June CWC admitted 302 wildlife patients - more than any other month in the organization's long history! And it's just the beginning of summer.

Among our patients were these eleven newborn Silver-haired Bats! A whole nursery fell when a tree was cut, but luckily none were injured and they are all returning home tonight.
