As Christians, we use a number of words that are packed with meaning and importance: God, Hope, Doubt, Justice, Freedom, Peace, and more.  On June 5 we will begin a new summer sermon series called, "Words to Live By," in which we will unpack, explore, and explain what we mean when we use these powerful words, and how they shape our daily life. Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:15 AM to learn more.

We’ll be riding a wave of God’s love at Vacation Bible School this year, with record attendance and amazing volunteers, and we can’t wait to see where God will lead us! There is still room for you, so register completed 3K - completed 5th grade today at here .  You won't want to miss this exciting week of Bible stories, games, drama, music and more each day from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

Parents, grandparents, friends, and church members are invited to join us on Friday, July 15 at 11:30 AM as our kids share all they have learned at the Surf Shack.

We already have more children registered than anticipated, so a few more volunteers would be very helpful.  If you are interested in volunteering contact Leigh Ann Tatum at leightatum@bellsouth.net or Robin Blakemore at robin@fcc-bhm.org.  Volunteer training will take place at 3 PM on Sunday, July 10.

We are still in need of some emptyplastic water bottles for crafts, and beach décor. You can bring these by the church office at any time during the week.

The church office is open 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday.  The office will be closed on Fridays.  If you need to reach a pastor while the office is closed, please dial 205-295-6708 to reach the minister on call.
