Have you made the jump into social media for your business? We've been making a big effort to grow our online presence and have learned a lot. There are so many options out there, so we started slow and now have a steady following on our pages. We have been working to regularly post content on our Facebook page, our LinkedIn page, on Instagram and made sure our contact information was correct on our Yelp listing (anyone want to give us a review??). It's a lot of work, but also fun finding interesting and informative content to share with our customers, vendors, family and friends!
Our top tips for going social?
- Ease into it! Choose 1 platform and get used to it first before adding more. (Facebook is the #1 site for restaurants and restaurant-goers... so probably the best choice to start with!)
- Make sure to interact with your followers. They want to know you're really there!
- Plan, plan, plan! Facebook has a great scheduling tool so you can plan out what you'll post and be prepared!
