Accessible Travel is Awesome - July Updates!

Hello, everyone!

I owe you an explanation. You may have noticed that there was no newsletter sent in June. I could blame that on traveling 28,754 miles around the world. But, the truth is - I spent way too much time catching up on TV shows when I returned home. My trip left me 4 weeks behind on Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley and Reign - then, Netflix dropped new seasons of Bloodline and OITNB. So, I'm sorry - but, can you really blame me? Winter is coming, after all. ;-)

With that out of the way, I'm excited to share some of the awesome updates that came out of my whirlwind trip around the world. I spent time in Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur (Accessible Travel Guide), Berlin and Washington, D.C.!

Highlights: I tested out the world's first wheelchair accessible tuk-tuk, ate goat meat topped with ants (!!!), played with elephants, flew for the first time on 3 new airlines (Malaysia Airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Finnair), admired Kuala Lumpur from the Petronas Towers, and crossed a big milestone... my 400th flight as a wheelchair user! So, enough waiting - check out some of those stories and more at the links below!

All the best,

John

P.S. Look out for another e-mail later this month and be sure to follow along on Facebook and Twitter!
