Snuggle with Picture Books

Welcome to this snuggly den!

This is your cozy pit stop for anything and everything to do with picture books in India (other than providing that final click of a button for the purchase!). As this is the very first newsletter, I am at the start of my learning curve. If you find anything amiss, do feel free to drop me a line at snugglewithpicturebooks@gmail.com

The newsletter will go out on the 25th of each month. I intend curating the best of each month's contents that I come across online. The beauty of a newsletter is in its stubborn insistence on being a somewhat-permanent entity in this blink-and-you-miss world of social media. Unless we delete it, it sits quietly in our inboxes reminding us of a less manic pace of life where we CAN  - if we desire - come back to it, again and again, and yet again.

While the focus of this newsletter is picture books by Indian authors and illustrators, it will carry some updates from the international markets too. The subsequent ones will get fine tuned with time and experience, but the basic structure (in terms of content) will remain more or less similar. So please feel free to opt out in case it's not what you expected.

The message may get clipped/ truncated in your inboxes (my trial message ended right after 'New Releases'); please do click on the 'read entire message' prompt at the end and pore over it all! Because it's a visually-rich newsletter, to make the most of it, remember to click on the 'display images for this mail' option in your email window.

I need your support in making this as exhaustive and complete as is possible. If you come across anything interesting that you feel is a good fit for it, please drop me a line at snugglewithpicturebooks@gmail.com, or tag me on Facebook or Twitter

A BIG thank you to you all for hopping onto this merry bandwagon. And spread the word, if you find it useful. :)

Picture book hugs to one and all!
