Pucker Up! The Lemon Festival is Coming August 7
Celebrating 20 years on Third Avenue, the Lemon Festival is back on Sunday, August 7. We encourage you to keep your stores open on this special day, as an estimated 30,000 people attend this flagship event. Take it a step further by providing an offer that encourages patrons to return on a future date. This is a great way to generate business and track the success of your Lemon Festival promotion.

Living Coast Discovery Center Farm to Bay Tickets on Sale Now
The Living Coast Discovery Center’s Farm to Bay event returns for its 7 th year on Saturday, August 6 and tickets are on sale now!
This unique tasting event brings together some of San Diego’s finest restaurants, breweries, wineries, farms and more to support the center’s coastal wildlife, education and sustainability programs. Set apart by its animal encounters, combined with live music, fine food and drinks, Farm to Bay tickets are expected to sell out. Get your tickets now at www.thelivingcoast.org.
Third Avenue Streetscape Phase II Complete
The second phase of the Third Avenue Streetscape Project is complete! The enhancements include new street furniture, drought tolerant landscaping, new palm trees and increased pedestrian safety through shorter crosswalks and reduced traffic lanes. Phase III, which will take the project to completion at Third and E, does not yet have an anticipated start date, but we will keep members informed as new information comes in.
In the meantime, be sure to remind any customers that were wary of construction road blocks that the serenity of the street has been restored.
