Kinsler is exceeding his career levels in batting average (.294 versus .277), OBP (.351 versus .344), and slugging (.508 versus .451). The only obvious negative: with 71 strikeouts already, he is on pace to demolish his season high of 90, in 2012.
Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun had two singles and a walk in four plate plate appearances as the Brewers hammered Cincinnati 9-1. His .314 batting average is tied for 8th place in the National League.
