Do you need our help to upgrade to Shibboleth IdP V3?
With the End-of-Life (EOL) of Shibboleth V2 on July 31 2016, the AAF Support Team is here to help you with upgrading to IdP V3.
To assist you with this upgrade work the AAF IdP Installer has been developed to simplify the work and effort required by your team to upgrade to IdP V3.

If you are unable to upgrade your IdP by July 31, 2016 it will continue to function in the AAF. However, your IdP will be exposed to the potential risk of security issues or bugs after this date that will not be fixed by the Shibboleth software developers.
If you do not plan to upgrade before July 31, can you please advise us of your expected completion date for your upgrade.

ORCID Resources
The AAF ORCID Resources page hosts webinar dates, registration details and useful resources for planning an integration.
It also hosts the Greenhouse which provides a list of open source software, installation guides and integration examples that are currently provided by member organisations and vendors to support ORCID.

eduPersonORCID ID - Now part of the eduPerson specification
The ORCID attribute was added to the eduPerson specification (the common set of attributes for research and higher education) in early 2016 and can now be linked to ORCID identifiers through federated access to online services.
eduPersonORCID is a recommended AAF attribute and we encourage you to begin using it. Technical information is available on the AAF Wiki.
