This bulletin highlights innovative research projects that we're proud to be associated with from researchers Professor Chris Petit of the University of New South Wales and Clare Collins of the University of Newcastle. We check in with Richard Berry, eResearch Analyst at UoN, find out about exciting new training courses in MATLAB, regex and python, and hear about the Digital Humanities Australasia conference. We've released some important tools to understand cross-border health data security and privacy issues via med.data.edu.au, and we explain some changes made to sustain the NecTAR Research Cloud in NSW.

We welcome Craig Hamilton as our new Engineering Manager, replacing Rod Harrison who we thank sincerely for six years of code, people and project management. Craig and Rod have had a month of transition time and orderly arrangements for handover for all in-flight projects are in place. Finally, we acknowledge the contribution of founding CEO Mike Briers and congratulate him on his appointment as Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia.
