Hello all!

I hope 2016 has been treating you well. Once again I am sorry to say that I'm just a wee bit behind on my intended Newsletter schedule. We have a few updates; some good, some not so good.
First, the good news: I am working on book #3. However, a lil' ski accident last winter slowed me down. I took my environmental advocacy just a bit too far and hugged a tree. With far too much enthusiasm. While thankfully nothing was broken, it's taken some time to recover from the resulting concussion, which has meant severely limiting my computer - and therefore writing - time. I'm feeling better, but still have to be careful not to overdo it. And, until I make the New York Times Best Sellers List,* I still have that whole 'day job' to contend with. :) However, on the positive side - the skiing accident fit perfectly into a scene in book #3!

(* If you want to help get me on the list, please write a review on Amazon.com if you haven't already!)
All that said, I'm aiming to release the next book sometime in 2017.
Second, we do have some good news on the homefront. In case you haven't heard, Bella has a new sister! We adopted "Avi" (short for Avalanche) in the spring. If you notice the goofy ears, Avi was a rescue so we aren't quite sure what happened. But she's as sweet and beautiful as her older sister.

Third, I have been selling books locally at a few events around town and plan to do so throughout the summer. If you haven't done so yet, please Like my Facebook page for more updates.
Thank you for your interest, support, and understanding regarding the delay of book #3. I hope you have a wonderful summer!
