Is Whiskey and Duct Tape your idea of First Aid?

If this is how you approach first aid you might need our help....

We are pleased to offer a First Aid Course on Wednesday, 27 July. This course will provide you with a First Aid Certificate for three years. The Course Workbook is accessed online and will take approximately two hours to complete, this is then followed by the 6-7 hour practical course. Please don't leave it to that week to register. If you wish to be part of next weeks group you need to contact me now to complete your online training first.

If you are interested in undertaking training on this day, or if you would like to look at dates beyond this course, please contact me on 02 6862 4914 or click the link below to email me. Leave a message if I'm not there and I will call you back ASAP.

This course is available courtesy of funding from the Central West Local Land Services.

They are finally here! Our Green Army team have started. They have finished their induction training and First Aid and have been working this week on Memorial Hill removing 'Mother of Millions' and other weeds that have carpeted the side of the Hill. This is a massive job and they have cleared significant sections of the Hill.

They will be helping out next week with Eco Day at the Central West Livestock Exchange and with the Forbes Schools Tree Planting Day as well. It is great to have them on board.

Next week is a busy week for us at Central West Lachlan Landcare. We appreciate your patience if you need a response to an enquiry. We would love you to be involved in our green activities listed below:
  • Tuesday - NRM Working Group meeting at the CWLL Office
  • Wednesday - First Aid course (bookings essential)
  • Thursday - Eco Day for Stage 3 students from Parkes and Forbes Shires
  • Friday - Forbes Schools Tree Day Planting
  • Saturday - Forbes National Tree Day (details below)
  • Sunday - Parkes National Tree Day (details below)
