With the support from South Shore Elder Services, Inc., QARI’s wonderful volunteer teacher, Kim Chan, led the elders of our Mandarin Survival English class to a fun field trip to Starmarket to master some new English vocabulary on June 14th.  Most students reported that they would like more similar activities because it helped them learn more English as well as strengthen their basic life skills. In addition, they also learned from each other how to shop healthy foods for their families.
