Crestview Newsletter 7/14/2016
 Its time to enter into a new chapter. For the Quists and for Crestview. I wonder what this chapter in the story of Crestview and Boulder will reveal. Like a good book, the plot is being set, the characters are making their appearances, and the story is being told. God is the author, Jesus the story teller and the flow of the pen and ink on the pages the Holy Spirit. There are pages to write here, about this time, this place and with these people - this community. God's unfolding story for his glory. And this is a tale you don't want to miss.
Deone and I are so pleased to be with you here in Boulder, CO and this Sunday, to have friends and family present too for worship. Ron Nydam will be bringing the message and leading the installation ceremony. I sat in on worship practice this week and you won't want to miss our worship time together - lets wake up the neighbors :). After our worship service we will be feasting! Bring some family food goodness to share and pass around. It will be brunch time.
In two weeks we are worshipping in the woods and waterways at Golden Gate State Park, Saturday July 30th, 5:00pm. Plan to join us - spend the day and stay for worship.

Pastor Mark Installation Service and Brunch
 As you just read in Mark's piece above, this Sunday we gather as God's people to celebrate Mark's installation as Pastor of Crestview Church. Praise God for His goodness and mercy to us all. There will be a feast (brunch) afterwards in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dish to pass--whatever you would like to bring (i.e., egg dish, fruit, cheesecake....). And, of course, if you can't bring a dish then please be sure to bring yourself!

Sign up for Crestview camping!
TWO weeks to go! Everyone who would like to go camping but has not yet signed up for the splendid camping trip on July 29-31, it is time to send that email to Eleanor.
We have camp sites reserved in beautiful Golden Gate State Park, just 50 minutes drive from Boulder. If camping isn’t your thing, then plan to come for the day on Saturday. All you will miss is 2 nights of questionable sleep. There will be vaguely organized activities during the day on Saturday, all accessible straight from the campsite (hiking, biking (road and mountain), fishing and of course hanging out at camp). We will have our Crestview service in God’s amazing outdoors around 5pm on Saturday. Crestview will cover the cost of the campsite, you will be responsible for the park entry fee ($7 per day). Invite your outdoor loving neighbors!
Email Eleanor to reserve your spot. (eleneedy@yahoo.com) ……….first come, first served. (Include number of people, number of vehicles, currently we have tent only sites – let me know if a camper/RV site is needed)

Terry Maker has asked for empty prescription bottles for an art project she is working on. All sizes needed. Feel free to black out the name on the bottle with a black marker. You can leave your donations in the church office. Thank you!!
