Field Trip to Watch the
Chicago Bandits Wednesday!

Dear Game On! Families,

The Chicago Sky once again provided excitement for campers during Week #4 in Lake Forest! Remember that we were privileged to have Sky players visit camp a couple weeks ago. Well this past week, campers attended a Sky game, having the opportunity to cheer on some of the best players in the world, including U.S. Olympian and WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne. We had a blast!

We can't stress enough the importance of exposing campers to female role models and high level athletics throughout their camp experience. Hence our second field trip scheduled for next week when we will enjoy watching the very best the world has to offer in the sport of softball.

REMINDER
Next Wednesday, all campers are attending the Chicago Bandits softball game in Rosemont. More details about the game and parent tickets will be sent out on Sunday.

Tuesday, July 19 - Bring a Friend to Camp Day (waiver required)
Wednesday, July 20 - Field Trip to Chicago Bandits game
Thursday, July 21 - Halloween in July (Just make sure campers can still play sports in their costumes.)

Spotlight on: Chicago Bandits

The Bandits are Chicago's own professional softball team and they are the defending National Pro Fastpitch champions! The Bandits are led by Brittany Cervantes, who was named the 2015 NPF Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the All-NPF team. The Bandits also have six players on their roster that played college softball in the state of Illinois - home state connections are important!

FUN FACT: There are six teams in NPF including players from the U.S., Australia, Japan, the Netherlands, Canada, and New Zealand.
