Vote for Karen Scott – Candidate for AHIMA Board of Directors!
 THIMA members are so fortunate that our own Karen Scott is a candidate for the AHIMA Board of Directors! We have the unique opportunity to support a THIMA member who can help shape the future of our professional association. Please help spread the word and encourage your colleagues to vote when the polls open on August 1.
In the meantime, you can post questions to Karen and other AHIMA Election Candidates in Engage. Now through July 29, AHIMA members can meet and ask questions of the candidates running in the 2016 AHIMA Election for AHIMA Board of Directors president/chair-elect, AHIMA Board members, and Commission on Certification for Health Informatics and Information Management and Council for Excellence in Education members, in the Engage AHIMA Membership and Business Community.
You can also access brief bios for each candidate in the Community library. Voting will take place online at ivote.ahima.org August 1–15. All active, new graduate, and emeritus AHIMA members are eligible to vote.​

Need help coding advanced cases? AHIMA can help! Join us August 15-18 in Nashville, TN for a Crack the Codes Advanced Workshop. These meetings are designed to help you become confident in coding advanced cases in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and ICD-10-PCS coding systems. You can select the workshop(s) and day(s) that meets your training needs and earn up to 26 CEUs!
