This workshop is the first of a two-part series on song writing. In this first part, learn about the basic elements of a song such as Verse, Chorus, Music Styles, Chord Progressions and Modern Music Notation by studying classic songs. Identify chords and scales and begin putting into practice what you have learnt by writing a song.This workshop is suitable for participants aged 16 and above.

This workshop is the second of a two-part series on song writing. In this second part, learn about lyric writing and performance of songs. Try your hand at writing lyrics to a simple tune, documenting your song in a score and recording it before performing the song in class! This workshop is suitable for participants aged 16 and above.
