In June 2016, Netspring once again collaborated with DTZ to build a Green IT classroom in Chengdu, which marks the 64th classroom to date. We also cooperated with AmCham and "Friends of Wellington"in June and got more than 300 computers, in order to get ready for the new fall semester. To motivate the schools to use IT classrooms more often, Netspring also launched a pilot coding program in Taicang to teach local pupils to use Scratch® coding software, in preparation for a nationwide coding contest starting in October this year. June 3-6 Eco Design Fair
Green Initiatives collaborated with Netspring and Wexiang to launch the [WE] Project which aims to provide the local community in Shanghai with an environmentally-friendly way to dispose of unwanted and broken electronic products.
June 13 Donation Drive at Wellington School
Netspring went to the Wellington School in Shanghai to receive a donation of used electric goods from “Friends of Wellington”. June 17 Amcham Donation Drive in Suzhou
Netspring went to Yioulai Shopping Village in Suzhou for a 2-day donation drive activity open to Amcham members in the Suzhou area.
June 27 Scratch® pilot class launched in Taicang
An engineer from Argentina collaborated with Netspring to launch a pilot class for teaching pupils how to use Scratch® coding software in Taicang migrant school.
