Make your science matter at the Global Ocean Refuge System IMCC4 Focus Group - 4 August; MPA nominations now open!

Marine Conservation Institute is excited for the International Marine Conservation Congress in just a few weeks in St. Johns, Newfoundland. This year we will be hosting a Focus Group on August 4 to finalize the robust criteria for the Global Ocean Refuge System and would like to invite all interested Congress attendees to pre-register for this day-long session.
 
If you will not be in attendance at IMCC4 or cannot participate in the Focus Group, we would like to offer you the chance to nominate a site to the Global Ocean Refuge System via our new platform prior to the Congress and provide us feedback on the nomination process. We will use pre-nominated MPAs and the outcome of their internal vetting as a basis for the Focus Group discussion at IMCC.
