I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has enabled Kidasha (CWS) to support and grow Asha Healthcare over this period. Learning from our work with Asha, coupled with that from our other projects in Pokhara, means we now have an in-depth understanding of the issues facing families living in chronic urban poverty, as well as the best ways to help address them.
So, as the door gradually closes on one of our longest running projects, we are utilising the learning from Asha to develop new projects that meet the needs of the poorest children and families living in urban chronic poverty in today’s Nepal, with a particular emphasis on the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents outside family care and improving parental awareness of good nutrition and sanitation. I look forward to sharing more details on these projects with you soon.
Best wishes
