The Saskatchewan Handcraft Festival returns this weekend to the Alex Dillabough Centre, Battleford, SK.
Organized by the Saskatchewan Craft Council (SCC), the market is synonymous with quality. Each and every exhibitor has passed the rigorous jury process of the SCC. That means the artists' work is skillfully constructed and finished. No ready-made kits or assembly-line pieces here; only original, personal and authentic local handmade Fine Craft! The market will feature works of every description including traditional and contemporary works in clay, photography, painting, women’s clothing, sculpture, wood, jewellery and glass.
Don’t miss Artistic Workshops for Kids, presented in partnership with Dance Saskatchewan and the Chapel Gallery. The workshops will be held Friday at 1 pm, and Saturday at 10 am and 1 pm. Workshops are open to drop-ins, but pre-registration is encouraged. Cost is $10 per child, and includes one adult admission to the Handcraft Festival. Call Dance Saskatchewan for more information and to register at 1-800-667-8480.
