This month we are back at our usual venue and we'll have members' demonstrations and short talks.

We'll have demos on how to fix a flat on the rear wheel of your bike, making paper flowers, first aid, help with your kids homework and much more!

We'll also have an update on WI business and what we have planned for the remainder of the year.

Fundraising

TODAY Durdham Down Group (DDG) Fundraising Event (and inter-WI bake-off!)

Come along later today where there'll be tickets available on the door for a fun night of bowls and eating cake! Remember to wear flat shoes, no stilettos on the green!

Quiz Night 30th Sep

The annual charity quiz night is back! Again at the Station Kitchen in town, there'll be food, drink and a raffle. Please save the date, tickets cost Â£10 and will be on sale at the next meeting!

Giggle comedy night at Bristol Zoo 31st July, Â£27.50, speak to CLP if you'd like to come along.

Ale Birds

Next meeting is Chums on Chandos Rd, 4 Aug at 8pm. Put your name down at the meeting.

Wild Women

Standup Paddle boarding (SUP) is the next activity, more details at the meeting.

Want to get involved in the committee? We have a range of roles coming available for next year, so if you'd like to join a great bunch who only meet 1 extra meeting per month (often in a pub!) let us know.

Future Meetings

Badge Design Competition

As it's our 5th Anniversary this year, and we thought it would be nice to commemorate it with a traditional enamelled pin badge. We are opening up the design to members, so submit your designs to the committee! They don't need to be final artwork, your ideas on paper or screen can be submitted. We are looking for modern or traditional designs, check out Pinterest for inspiration. Closing date is end of August.

Membership for 2016 is now full, if you would like to go on our waiting list please contact us via email. We do accept a few visitors at our meetings, which costs Â£4. You can visit up to three times in 1 year.
