Stories for Impact Workshops

22 & 23 August 2016 | Coffs Harbour
25 & 26 August 2016 | Port Macquarie

“Let’s change the world together, one story at a time”.  Digital Storytellers’ mission is to help write a better narrative for the world, through telling stories that matter, and sharing what we know to empower a wider community of storytellers.

This exciting 2 day workshop will  be facilitated by Natasha and Pete from Digital Storytellers and will give you all the skills to create stories with impact. It will cover the following:

Day One:  FIND Your Story – Before we start making stories, let’s develop a plan | MAKE Your Story - Lights, Camera, Action! .

Day Two: EDIT Your Impact Story – Simple editing for powerful stories | SHARE Your Story – Scaling your story to the world.

Rhythm review are a group of volunteers that entertain in nursing homes and respite care centres to break down isolation of the aged and strengthen intergenerational connections.

The group are looking for some new dancers to join in the fun, meet some great people and to stay fit and healthy.

Who's Interested in Game Development and Virtual Reality? Yes??? Then read on!

The aim of this social enterprise project is to give people access to tools such as the Unity game engine and blender to help them make games and open up opportunities for employment and collaboration.

Carers NSW invites anyone caring for a family member or friend to come along for a free day of fun and relaxation.
The event, part of the Carers NSW 40th birthday celebrations, features activities, workshops, live entertainment, information stalls and delicious food. Community Transport will operate accessible shuttle bus transfers throughout the day.
