Kick-Off program begins this Saturday
Football Federation Victoria is offering kids a chance to try playing football, or banish the post-season blues by getting involved in its AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off program to be held at State Football Centre, Thornbury.
The program will run every Saturday at 9am over 6 weeks, commencing on October 10.
AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off is the national introductory football program for boys and girls aged 4-9.
A Fit Football program for parents will also be run in conjunction with the Kick-Off program.

Pride Football hits Melbourne this week
Melbourne Rovers is preparing to take on The Flying Bats and Sydney Rangers FC in the Julie Murray Cup and Justin Fashanu Cup at Kevin Bartlett Reserve on Saturday, October 10.
Run by Pride Football Australia and partnered with Fair go, sport!, the annual tournament is part of a view between FFV and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission to create healthier, more welcoming sporting environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex communities in Victoria.

Girls Spring SAP Program returns for 2015
FFV’s Skill Acquisition Programs give players aged 10–12 the opportunity to develop their football skills under the guidance of an advanced coach, over a seven-week period.
Feedback from Winter SAP players/parents revealed that 94% of SAP participants would return, or recommend the program to others.
Females born in 2003 and 2004 are eligible.

Summer Sevens to be biggest yet
Registrations have now closed for Summer Sevens this Spring, and with a 36 per cent increase in team entries, there will be 15 competitions across nine venues this year, an increase from nine competitions across seven venues last year.
