“He does not value the power of a man. The Lord values those who fear Him;
those who put their hope in His faithful love.”
Psalm 28:7

This Month:

September is here and what a great time to live in Central America and put your faith in God! Arlene led  a five-person medical team this month. We saw 50 patients and had eight salvations.

The week of September 14th – 19th is the Independence Celebration for Honduras. The country is full of parades, good food, and many activities. It is also the rainy season, which drops the temperature somewhat, and along with all of the other reasons, makes this a great place to live.

This month, OEM will include Leadership and Spiritual training for 40 Honduran Air Force cadets from the 7th - 9th. On September 10th I will be teaching a special conference on Values, Ethics, and Attitudes from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the National University (UNAH), as well as graduating 86 students from the University with a certificate of Leadership.

On September 22nd, Pamela, myself, Hannah, and Alicia are traveling to Canas, Costa Rica. There we will  work with Faith Promise, Costa Rica and a team led by Emily Carringer, from Faith Promise Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are looking forward to spending time there with the team, Pastor Edier and his family.

We will be leading a five-day Leadership conference for 136 new police cadets on September 28th – October 2nd. After this conference, the policemen will graduate and begin their work on the streets. What a blessing to be a part of all of this!

The Holy Spirit has placed us in a unique position to be able to reach many churches and organizations and we continue to move forward.
Thank you for your prayers and support financially.

“For our eyes will no longer be focused on what is most comfortable to us; instead, our lives will be fixed on what is most glorifying to God, and in Him we will find a far greater reward than anything our culture can ever offer us". (David Platt). AMEN.

Sharing the gospel through drama

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • Melissa, Harriett, and Arlene as they are always working on the finances for OEM.
  • OEM as we work toward a multi-service contract with the government in Honduras to make sure all taxes, etc. are paid, if needed.
  • Arlene, as she travels to the US, September 12th, to work on finances and to minister to her mother, as well as Terry’s stepfather who is now in a nursing home.
  • Terry, as he finishes all he needs to complete before returning to the US on October 18th.
  • Hannah Jackson as she completes her four months here. Pray God has, and will, show her what her next step with Him will be.
  • Alicia Erickson, as she also continues to follow God’s will for her life.
  • Hans, as he is having therapy on his injured hand and will have reparative surgery in October.  Pray also for Hans’ children who are now living with Hans’ parents. Pray that the children’s Mom (who left them for almost a year while she traveled to Spain) will continue to allow them to reside with Hans and/or his family.
  • Pamela, as she works hard for OEM and deals with the same issues as Hans, as well as she with her own family’s issues.
  • General financial funds to pay rent, salaries, auto repairs, etc.
  • Funding for the programs we support; i.e., Home of Hope and others.
  • A truck to be able to travel in Central America which costs between $30,000 –$ 40,000.
  • Terry to have discernment on what to do through the leading of the Holy Spirit. There are many decisions to be made at this time in the life of OEM in Honduras.
  • All OEM staff and their families.
  • Eric and Melissa Weber, their children, and their staff in Nicaragua.
  • Never forget to pray for more souls for the kingdom and lives changed!
