Redeemer's Email Blast
Stay in-the-know about all things happening at Redeemer

COMING BACK AFTER ATTACK:
If you tried to visit our website this week, then you saw a scary warning. We're happy to report the website is restored, and things are getting back to normal.
Special Events
Women's Retreat: There are 3 open and FREE spots! Join us Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4 for our weekend trip to Myrtle Beach. Email Gray Morgan to take one of those free spots!

Missions Focus Morning: Join us Sunday, October 11 at 9:15 am for stories of God's faithfulness to a special visiting missionary family, plus you'll hear stories from our short-term missionaries from this summer. Our children will also enjoy a missions focus in their class, as they'll meet real missionary kids and hear stories of God's work around the world.

Night of Worship: The Downtown and James Island Community Groups invite everyone to a church-wide music-filled worship service on Tuesday, October 13 at the church. Bring finger foods to share for the fellowship portion starting at 6 pm. Then join us in the sanctuary at 7 for music and worship. Children are welcome at this event; there are no nursery workers provided, but the nursery rooms will be open.

Get Involved
Host an International Family: Mission of Hope Bolivia is a medical ministry that is sending a three-year-old girl, Diana, and her mother, Carla, to Charleston where the child will receive a cochlear implant surgery from a generous ENT physician at MUSC. Diana and Carla will need places to stay, assistance with transportation, and assistance with interpretation. They will be here from November-January in order for Diana to receive appropriate post-op care and therapy. Please contact Olivia Hines at 601-613-3383 if you feel called to help with this amazing opportunity.

Take a Meal: Lauren & Tyler Martin welcomed little Luke last week, and now our Redeemer family can celebrate and show love to them through meals. Check their website for details and signup instructions.

New Christian-Ed. Classes: Our fall semester classes for children, youth, and adults are off to a great start! Read more about each class at the links above. If you'd like to volunteer during the Christian-ed. hour in any way (help teach adults, prep coffee, tell the story to the kids, sing songs, play games, etc.), then contact Gray Morgan.

Women's Prayer Watch: The Lord has delivered us so that we may take an active role in seeing His Kingdom grow here in Charleston. If your heart desires to cry out to the Lord for Redeemer--its leaders, ministries, missionaries, marriages, young adults at school and home, our neighborhood, city, nation, and the church universal, come join us on the sanctuary floor the second Saturday of every month from 7-9 am. We long to see more of His Kingdom come; join us this Saturday, October 10.

PCA Resource for Women: Our denomination publishes great articles and a monthly e-newsletter. Get details here.

For this Sunday
Christian-Education Classes: Kids and youth will meet in Fellowship Hall, and adults will gather in the sanctuary as our new classes continue for the fall semester. Everyone will be learning through The Story of God. Here's the handout for parents to teach their kids for this Sunday.

Worship: Craig will preach in our Deuteronomy sermon series from Chapter 22. View Sunday's bulletin here.
