Join us for our 2015 Fall Concert!
We'd like to invite everyone to our first concert of the 2015-2016 school year. This year's fall concert features several special things...
First, we are excited to welcome the CHS Varsity Orchestra who will be performing on the concert with us. The orchestra will present some music on their own and then will join the Chorale to present Handel's Coronation Anthem No. 1, "Zadok the Priest", one of this year's all-state choir pieces. To close the concert, the combined choirs and varsity strings will perform "Tollite hostias" from Camille Saint-Saëns's Oratorio de Noël.
Second, we are also pleased to announce the debut of our new accompanist, Mrs. Joni Abel. We also welcome our guest organist, Mrs. Louellen Meyer, who will be accompanying the choir on the two pieces with orchestra.
Lastly, thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Meyer, we will also be able to perform the coronation anthem with harpsichord.
Our fall concert is free and will be at 7:30 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church on Thursday, October 1, 2015. We will open the doors for audience seating no earlier than 7:00 PM. We ask that everyone remain outside or in the foyer until then.
