Student Meet & Greet with Gov. George Pataki
from 3:15 to 4:00 pm, Hinman Forum, Rockefeller Center
Gov. Pataki is visiting campus as the first speaker in the America's Economic Future series, featuring presidential candidates and co-sponsored by the Tuck School of Business and the Rockefeller Center. Students are invited to meet and talk with the former governor prior to his public talk at 5:00 pm.

Public Talk: Presidential Candidate Gov. George Pataki
from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, Georgiopoulos Classroom, Raether Hall, Tuck School of Business
America's Economic Future series, co-sponsored by the Tuck School of Business and the Rockefeller Center, features presidential primary candidates who will address the issue of America's Economic Future. Come hear the 1st speaker in the series, Governor George Pataki, former three-term governor of New York and presidential primary candidate.

PoliTALK Dinner on Immigration Reform with La Santa Cecilia

La Santa Cecilia is an emerging musical face of young Latinos—and a poignant voice for immigration reform. Porter is an innovative and results-driven attorney, scholar, and political leader who has devoted his professional career to advancing the rights of sovereign American Indian nations and tribes in the United States. New Public Policy Course in 16W!
Professor Charlie Wheelan will be teaching Education 20: Educational Issues in Contemporary Society (10A). This course can count towards the PBPL minor. Students will examine the history and structure of public education in America and explore how public education can contribute to a more informed, prosperous, and fair society.

Class of 2016 Senior Honors Thesis Grants
Deadline Friday, October 16th
Undergraduate students writing a senior honors thesis in the social sciences are eligible to apply for up to a $1,000 grant from the Rockefeller Center. All completed applications must be received in 203 Rockefeller Hall by 4:00pm.  Applications may be emailed to Jane DaSilva.
