A+D Undergraduate Students:  Making an appointment with your academic advisor is easy.  We encourage you to schedule an appointment at any time during the semester if you need assistance.

Upcoming:
Friday, October 2nd - Last day for students to drop Fall 2015 classes without grade penalty. Last day to change grade option from A-F to P/F, 5:00 p.m. Visit University Registrar in 250 Student Services Building to process a grade change option. If you are enrolled in only one course, you cannot drop your final hours, but must officially resign from the university for the semester. Your refund will be calculated according to the university refund policy on resignations.

STUDENTS
On Thursday, October 1st, at 5pm the DMCO will hold a workshop demonstrating how to use scripting to improve the efficiency of digital tools. This workshop will provide an introduction to scripting and tactics for using scripts to automate digital processes. All are welcome to participate in workshop, which will be held in the A+D Conference Room on the 2nd floor of Cowgill Hall.
 
For AIAS Members -- AIAS is proud to announce our upcoming 2nd Annual Firm Crawl on Thursday, October 15 through Saturday, October 17. This year's Firm Crawl will take place in Washington D.C. and will include a trip to the WAAC in Alexandria. This trip is very limited in participants and only open to AIAS members. Upperclassmen and Graduate students are urged to participate, as this can lead to a potential future working relationship. more   survey link

Student collaboration is the key to the USITT Architecture and Theatre Student Design Competition sponsored by American Seating. Students work together to create a center for performing arts on campus. The student competition which pairs architecture and theatre students to create the Ideal Theatre. Deadline is January 19, 2016

Embrace your bold spirit and show us what you believe the Baldwin 70th Anniversary Commemorative Knob looks like. We'll show the world by unveiling the winning design and presenting the award in January 2016 in Las Vegas. Deadline October 30, 2015

It's time for a fresh start for the GVGBC's Green Spaces Design Competition! This year, we're taking the annual contest westward to a brand new location. The Clifton Forge High School in scenic Clifton Forge, Virginia, is the challenge site. Vacant since the 1980s, this building has great potential and a community that wants to see it revived in a sustainable way. Deadline is November 9, 2015

The Baltimore City Department of Planning is seeking to hire five City Planner IIs. Eligible applicants with a master's degree in Planning and two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience must apply by the closing date of Sunday, November 1, 2015.
The City has also posted City Planner I. This entry-level position is a great opportunity for college graduates with a degree in Planning who have limited or no Planning experience.
