Regina Cat Rescue marks National Feral Cat Day on October 16

To mark National Feral Cat Day on October 16, Regina Cat Rescue is holding a soft cat food drive for Regina’s feral cats and kittens throughout the month of October. We request canned food since our dry cat food needs are being met through Champion Petfoods' generous platinum sponsorship. Our wish list includes canned cat and kitten food, KMR kitten formula, Canadian Tire money, cat litter and soft food. Donations can be dropped off at 167 Bothwell Crescent. For more information about Regina’s feral cats, check out our video that shares their story. Learn more about National Feral Cat Day here.

Vote RCR as Best Non-profit in Regina!

Regina Cat Rescue is nominated as the Best Non-Profit in the Prairie Dog magazine Best of Regina 2015! A vote for us is a vote for helping Regina’s abandoned cats and kittens. Our very own Pet Rescue co-chair, Alanna Whippler, is also nominated as Best Volunteer and RCR is grateful for the work she does every day to help Regina’s helpless felines. Cast your ballot at the Prairie Dog website. Voting closes October 19. Thanks for your support!

September's Metro Cat

Thank you to Metro Pet Market for helping Regina Cat Rescue by Spaying It Forward! This month, Metro paid for Jacy’s spay surgery as part of their ongoing mission to foster responsible pet ownership. Jacy was living under a deck with her four young kittens when she was rescued. The whole family was placed in foster care, where they thrived. She’s a sweet and affectionate cat – and found her forever home earlier this month! For more on Metro Pet Market, visit metropetmarket.ca.

Head down to Rochdale Roca House!

The fine folks at Rochdale Roca House have whipped up two delicious drinks and a cat-themed treat for the month of October, and all month long they'll be donating proceeds from the sale of these items to RCR! So enjoy your Caramel Kitten (caramel mint latte) or Chocolate Hisses (hot chocolate with a pinch of chili powder) knowing that you're helping RCR while sipping your tasty drink. Big thanks to Chelsey and everyone at Roca House for supporting RCR. To learn more and check out photos of the featured drinks, click here.
