Cet été a été pour nous un été très studieux et fructueux avec la finalisation de la validation de nos essais de génotoxicité et d’hépatotoxicité, la mise en place des essais de cytotoxicité en culture 2D et 3D et l’automatisation des essais de wound healing sur l’ensemble de nos lignées disponibles au laboratoire (Hela, HT29, HepG2 et Caco-2). Vous trouverez l’ensemble des essais sur notre site internet. Nous serons, d’autre part, présents au congrès ELRIGfr à Bruxelles les 14 et 15 Octobre. Nous vous présenterons 4 posters présentant différents modèles cellulaires en HCA/HCS. Venez nous voir nombreux à la session posters !

It has been a very hard working and fruitful summer for us, with the completion of the validation of our genotoxicity and hepatotoxicity assays, the implementation of cytotoxicity assays in 2D and 3D culture and the automation of wound healing assays on all cell lines available in our lab (Hela, HT29, HepG2 and Caco-2). You will find all these assays on our website. Furthermore, we will be present in ELRIGfr event in Brussels on 14 and 15 October. We will present four posters showing different assay development in HCA / HCS. Come and meet us during the poster session!

New assays in oncology field


This summer has been very studious for us with the development and validation of new tests in the oncology field. Cytotoxicity assay has been developed in 2D and 3D culture in 96 well-plates as well as wound healing assay on different cell lines.

Our feedback of Drug Discovery 2015 in Telford


We were present in the innovation zone of Drug Discovery 2015 congress last week in Telford. We had the opportunity to present our work with two posters.

The  first one was about the development of a neuroprotection assay as a Parkinson’s desease model in 2D culture. First results on 3D culture, where we can see the neurites connecting different spheroids, were also presented. The second poster showed the validation results of steatosis & phospholipidosis assay on HepG2 cells.

To look inside the cell with SIM (structured illumination microscopy)


Thomas Kirchhausen, Eric Betzig et al. publish an article in Sciences about SIM (structured illumination microscopy) and the observation of moving molecules inside cells. The incredible spatial and time resolution give the opportunity to see for exemple proteins which pass the cell membrane.
