One in four adults--approximately 61.5 million Americans--- experience serious mental illness a year
Serious mental illness cost America $193.2 billion a year in lost earnings per year.
The World Health Organization reports that Major Depression is the leading global disability.
Adults living with serious mental illness die approximately 25 years sooner due to treatable medical conditions.
Mood disorders such as depression are the third most common cause of hospitalizations in the US for adults and youth ages 18 to 44.
