Beth's Story: Bring on the Fire

Beth - Bring on the fire

It requires a different way of doing things from what most people have learned, and that means hard work. Beth is in the middle of this journey...." [ Watch the video above and read more...]

We are doing a lot of work around Cincinnati right now to tell a different story than "disability." Instead, we're telling the story of shared passions, new friendships, and interesting projects that pop up all over our local neighborhoods. A couple'a highlights from the past few weeks... Each one is living proof that while we our building is still closed due to construction after the flood - inclusion has no address!!
  • Katie (pictured left) started an internship with Amy Ostigny Company, which does event planning and marketing.
  • Ben (pictured right) continues to build his network at ESF Crossfit, where he is a regular.
  • Andy is hosting a potluck/farm tour this month at Our Harvest after volunteering for the coop this summer.
  • Audrey has started to meet other dancers through an Irish dance class at McGing, and described her first class as "the greatest."
  • Zak continues to work at the Rec Center in his neighborhood, and recently connected with other volunteers for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra after their work with Lumenocity at a volunteer appreciation dinner
  • Katie has started getting involved in the Observatory, where she is looking forward to helping out at the gift shop
