Photographed the sunrise at Split Rock Lighthouse this past week. This is the time of year to get great sunrises in many places along the North Shore. The sun was just breaking the horizon when I got there. In a few minutes it passed right behind the light. It wasn’t long before it started to disappear behind clouds that were moving out over Lake Superior. As soon as the clouds started to cover up the sun it made for the best photo of the morning.
